Torvin made the offer after the party reported the breach, but no agreement was reached.
The party accepted Torvin’s job, learned that Warden’s Watch may recognize the mark, and crossed most of Grayspin Pass. They defeated a marked ambush, recovered ciphered orders pointing to the watch, and saw one surviving attacker flee there.
Sister Raina connected the mark to an old movement that wanted Hollowpeak’s seal broken. The party defended Warden’s Watch from marked attackers, but the raid emptied much of the vault; Raina promised to direct them onward in the morning.
Sister Raina linked the attackers to reports from Marrow's Cliff and supplied Ossin as a contact. The party found older related-looking warning marks in Falomir Gorge, defeated another marked ambush, and chose the road toward Ossin and the lower-city docks.
