Grayspin Pass

Grayspin Pass is a high glacier saddle between two peaks on the route from Kaldrek to Warden's Watch. Its exposed blue-white ice, hidden crevasses, black rock ridges, and unbroken mountain wind make it a treacherous crossing. The party broke through the snow into a crevasse while crossing it, forcing a backtrack, and were ambushed by a marked group where the ice narrowed between rock outcrops. They later climbed from a camp below its eastern ridge to reach Warden's Watch.
