Hesk Dunmer offered the party passage north to Kaldrek if they could solve the danger keeping Saltwick's boats from the Scaries. The party repelled the immediate eel attack, but the source and purpose of the singing water remain unknown.

The party crossed the Scaries, drove off or killed one of three tagged frost eels, and recovered Crockens' Fang from its grounded body. A survivor's account now points north, but the danger at the islets has not been fully ended.
